Rancho Christian Senior Yewon Yang Named Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month

Rancho Christian School is proud to celebrate senior Yewon Yang, who has been recognized as the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month for March.

The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month program is a longstanding community initiative designed to honor local high school seniors who demonstrate strong character, a love of learning, and meaningful involvement in their school and community. Students are selected by their school’s faculty and staff and recognized alongside other outstanding seniors from high schools across the Temecula Valley.

The program has been celebrating and encouraging academic excellence in the region for more than three decades. Each month from September through April, participating schools nominate a senior who represents the best of their campus through leadership, service, perseverance, and commitment to their future education.

At Rancho Christian School, Yewon exemplifies these qualities through her leadership and dedication to building community on campus.

During her time at Rancho Christian, Yewon has:

  • Founded the Asian Culture Club, creating space for students to share and celebrate cultural heritage

  • Served as a member of the National Honor Society

  • Represented the school as a Rancho Christian Ambassador, helping welcome prospective families and supporting admissions and community events

Through these roles, Yewon has demonstrated a heart for leadership, service, and connection. Her willingness to invest in others and help strengthen the Rancho Christian community reflects the values we hope to cultivate in every Eagle.

The Student of the Month program recognizes seniors who make a difference in their homes, schools, and communities through sincerity and passion, and Yewon embodies that spirit.

Congratulations, Yewon!
Thank you for representing Rancho Christian School with excellence and for being a shining example of what it means to be an Eagle.

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
