Sometimes, students of any age find themselves struggling with certain aspects of their studies: homework assignments, studying for assessments, projects, presentations, etc. Our Helping Hand tutoring sessions allow for a student to have some one-on-one time with an educator that is an expert in a particular field of study. Here, students will be able to bring in their assignments and notes and have a “wingman” help guide them properly through the process of executing whatever the current focus is.

We at Rancho Christian School want our students to always be striving to achieve their best. While oftentimes tutoring is used as a safety net for situations in which a student is struggling, our philosophy is that even the best can be better. Our Scholastic Habits 101 program is a place where students that are doing well at their studies can work on honing habits and skills to make them the “elite.” Ivy League schools are not easy to gain entrance into, but with the development of these habits in reading, writing, analyzing, editing, retaining, note taking, and more, alongside a solid GPA, students will have a reasonable chance at obtaining their dream school. Students will learn how to take their current school work to the next level, while also focusing on college level content that will place them above and beyond other students in the valley, the state, and even the nation.

Preparing oneself for all important standardized exams that are the ACT & SAT can be a daunting task. This is where we come in. With many years of experience and thousands of hours of digging into these exams, we have created the perfect system for achieving higher scores. Our standardized test prep program has helped students receive perfect scores on the English portions of the ACT as well as near perfect scores on the Reading, Math, and Science tests. These scores have helped solidify scholarship offers from Ivy League schools and hundreds of other top universities across the nation. Group prep courses will be offered throughout the year, and one-on-one practice will be available as well. The end result of these prep sessions will be higher scores, more confidence, and test taking habits that will enable students to thrive at the collegiate level.

This Summer program is focused on instilling scholastic habits that will guarantee success in the classroom with an emphasis on reading, writing, and study skills. These programs are filled with habits and skills that have helped thousands of students with various scholastic abilities become more confident and perform better in the classroom. After taking this course, students will enter into the next year of school more prepared and self-assured than they left the previous year.

Rancho Christian’s Wingman Program is a resource for our amazing international students. This program is designed to come alongside our students from around the globe and help them grow in their reading, writing, speaking, organization, and their overall scholastic habits. Instead of having to go to an outside source for extra assistance, Rancho Christian School has made it easy for the students to receive the extra attention needed while on their own campus and by teachers that have already built a relationship with them. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our international students feel cared for, motivated, and confident as they make their way through Rancho and on into a university of their choice!
