Little Hands, Big Gratitude 💙💛

At Rancho Preschool, we believe even the smallest voices can make a meaningful impact.

Recently, our preschool students and families had the opportunity to participate in the “Thank 2000 Soldiers” initiative—writing handwritten notes and helping assemble care packages for active duty military members. It was a simple but powerful expression of gratitude, and one that beautifully reflects the heart of our community.

This effort was made possible through the generosity and leadership of the Hyslop family, one of our own Rancho Preschool families. With deep military roots—including a father who served as a Marine and multiple family members who are veterans—the Hyslops brought both passion and personal connection to this initiative. Their desire to serve those who serve created a meaningful opportunity for our students to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Here in Temecula, we are surrounded by a strong and vibrant military community. Many of our Rancho families—including parents, relatives, and loved ones—are actively serving or have served our country. We recognize that for some, this season includes the challenge of deployment and time away from home.

That’s what made this moment so special.

Through handwritten notes, kind words, and thoughtfully prepared care packages, our preschoolers were able to send encouragement, joy, and a reminder of home to those currently serving. It was a tangible way for our youngest students to learn empathy, gratitude, and what it means to care for others.

We are so proud of our Rancho Preschool community—for showing up, for participating, and for living out Christlike care in such a meaningful way.

And to our military families: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful to stand alongside you.
