visual arts

Our aim is to instruct and train young men and women in the visual and performing arts, helping them to acquire what God has called them to achieve. Through music, drama, art, media and worship arts – and many other artistic applications – we will endeavor to promote spiritual growth and community service, assisting students in discovering the talents and gifts that the Lord has given them to use to build up others.

OPPORTUNITIES

From preschool on through high school, our students will be exposed to the best fine arts education available through highly-qualified instructors who offer not only their education and experience but also an example of living for the glory of God, expressing their faith through the arts. RCS students will have opportunities within and outside the classroom to explore and improve their artistic expression through classroom music, chapel services, annual school-wide productions, bands, choir, stage-craft, technical production, worship teams, art classes, drama presentations, and many more opportunities.

Minjung Edall

Elementary Music Specialist

Mrs. Edall has been our early elementary education music teacher for many years. Her heart and passion for music, children, and Christ are evident the moment that you meet her. Her greatest desire is to see God glorified through the praises of His little children. Along with teaching music classes in grades K-6, and directing elementary musicals, Mrs. Edall also organizes the student lead worship services in our elementary chapels weekly. Her gifts for music and productions have blessed our school community greatly.

Jenna Augustine

Secondary Drama and Theater Teacher

Jenna Augustine was raised in theatre. She started performing at a very young age and never looked back. After participating in over 20 youth productions, Jenna headed off to Vanguard University to further her artistic education. She received her BA in Theater Arts after being trained as a performer, director and designer. While she absolutely loves performing, her passion truly is educational theater.
