Rancho Christian School’s Soaring Scholars brings about opportunities for students to receive help when needed as well as to thrive when motivated for a brighter future. Soaring Scholars has been developed over the course of many years utilizing decades of experience and knowledge from its tutors’ diligence in bolstering the scholastic abilities of students both in and out of the classroom. Utilizing proven methods and skill sets that have already helped many students achieve their goals of attending Yale, Harvard, UCLA, and many more universities around the world, Soaring Scholars is here to instill the necessary habits for success into students just starting off in 1st grade all the way through their collegiate career. We believe tutoring sessions should be fun, engaging, and helpful. Our students do not see tutoring sessions as extra work; instead, they see it as an opportunity to build their confidence, enhance their abilities, and have fun while building a better future for themselves.

Services Offered - Soaring Scholars offers families three different options for enhancing their student’s scholastics.

• Helping Hand Tutoring - Sometimes, students of any age find themselves struggling with certain aspects of their studies: homework assignments, studying for assessments, projects, presentations, etc. Our Helping Hand tutoring sessions allow for a student to have some one-on-one time with an educator that is an expert in a particular field of study. Here, students will be able to bring in their assignments and notes and have a “wingman” help guide them properly through the process of executing whatever the current focus is.

• Scholastic Habits 101 - We at Rancho Christian School want our students to always be striving to achieve their best. While oftentimes tutoring is used as a safety net for situations in which a student is struggling, our philosophy is that even the best can be better. Our Scholastic Habits 101 program is a place where students that are doing well at their studies can work on honing habits and skills to make them the “elite.” Ivy League schools are not easy to gain entrance into, but with the development of these habits in reading, writing, analyzing, editing, retaining, note taking, and more, alongside a solid GPA, students will have a reasonable chance at obtaining their dream school. Students will learn how to take their current school work to the next level, while also focusing on college level content that will place them above and beyond other students in the valley, the state, and even the nation.

• ACT & SAT Prep - Preparing oneself for all important standardized exams that are the ACT & SAT can be a daunting task. This is where we come in. With many years and thousands of hours of digging into these exams, we have created the perfect system for achieving higher scores. Our standardized test prep program has helped students receive perfect scores on the English portions of the ACT as well as near perfect scores on the Reading, Math, and Science tests. These scores have helped solidify scholarship offers from Ivy League schools and hundreds of other top universities across the nation. Group prep courses will be offered throughout the year, and one-on-one practice will be available as well. The end result of these prep sessions will be higher scores, more confidence, and test taking habits that will enable students to thrive at the collegiate level.
