Thanking Coaches Talia Crume, Alex Nielsen, and Kendall Wolinski for a fall season filled with growth, school pride, and Eagle energy.
As Rancho Christian’s fall sports season comes to a close, we’re celebrating three coaches who have helped fill our sidelines with school pride, energy, and heart: Head Cheer Coach Talia Crume and Assistant Coaches Alex Nielsen and Kendall Wolinski.
Behind every routine are hours of preparation, patient instruction, and encouragement. This coaching team has invested in helping athletes learn to trust one another, take on challenges, and represent Rancho with confidence. Together, they’re building a cheer culture that gives our school community something to rally around.
For this team, the growth has been especially meaningful. In September, Coach Talia shared that all but one athlete had started the season without previous stunt experience. Learning those skills meant building a foundation together, with coaches committed to helping each athlete progress. That work deserves a celebration of its own.
Each coach brings something special to the program.
Coach Talia leads Rancho’s middle school and high school cheer programs with a background in cheer, dance, and choreography. Her experience includes leading Linfield Christian’s cheer program and reinstating its competitive team. She loves helping athletes conquer challenges and discover confidence, with kindness and teamwork at the center of her approach.
Coach Alex brings his own high school cheer experience and a love for watching athletes grow into their skills. In his first year of coaching, he is focused on helping students adapt to new challenges while learning lessons in character and teamwork that reach beyond the sidelines.
Coach Kendall brings competitive dance experience, leadership as a high school dance team captain, and a connection to Rancho’s performing arts community. After serving as an intern and choreographer in Rancho’s theater program, she has brought that creativity and enthusiasm to cheer. She especially enjoys seeing students surprise themselves with what they can accomplish.
Their creativity is a team effort, too. All of the cheer team’s choreography is original, with Talia, Alex, and Kendall working together to create the sideline dances and routines our community enjoys. Their collaboration gives athletes a chance to perform something created especially for their team.
Coaches, thank you for the time you give, the encouragement you offer, and the pride you help our students carry. Thank you for celebrating progress, teaching teamwork, and bringing so much life to our fall season. Your work matters to the athletes you coach and to the Rancho community cheering alongside them.
Now we turn toward winter sports, and we can’t wait to see what you and our cheer team have in store.
Thank you, Coach Talia, Coach Alex, and Coach Kendall. Wings Up!
