Rancho Christian Celebrates Coach Allan Dykstra’s Baseball Legacy

Back-to-back league championships and a culture of discipline, faith, and excellence marked his tenure leading the Eagles

Rancho Christian School extends its sincere gratitude to Coach Allan Dykstra as he concludes his time as Head Coach of the Varsity Baseball program.

During his two seasons leading the Eagles, Coach Dykstra helped guide Rancho Christian Baseball through a period of remarkable growth and success. The program compiled a 37-13 overall record, went 28-2 in league competition, and captured back-to-back league championships.

In his first season, Coach Dykstra led the Eagles to a 15-8 overall record and a dominant 14-1 finish in the Inland Valley League. Rancho Christian secured the league championship while several student-athletes received All-League and All-CIF recognition.

The program continued its rise during the 2026 season, finishing 22-5 overall and 14-1 in the Sunbelt League. The Eagles produced a memorable 19-game winning streak, won another league championship, and moved from CIF Southern Section Division 5 into Division 2 competition.

While the victories and championships were significant, Coach Dykstra’s influence extended far beyond the scoreboard.

From the beginning of his tenure, he emphasized building a culture rooted in accountability, discipline, preparation, teamwork, and faith. Student-athletes were challenged to work hard, support one another, represent their school with excellence, and understand that their identity and purpose reach beyond the game of baseball.

That commitment helped establish a stronger foundation for the program and prepared numerous Eagles to pursue opportunities at the collegiate level. It also created lasting memories for players, families, coaches, and supporters throughout the Rancho Christian community.

Coach Dykstra brought a wealth of baseball experience to Rancho Christian, including a distinguished playing career at Wake Forest University, selection in the first round of the 2008 MLB Draft, and time with the Tampa Bay Rays. His knowledge of the game and commitment to developing young men made a meaningful impact on the Eagles Baseball program.

Rancho Christian School is grateful for the time, leadership, experience, and care Coach Dykstra invested in our student-athletes and school community. We celebrate the accomplishments achieved during his tenure and the foundation he helped strengthen for the future of Rancho Christian Baseball.

THANK YOU, Coach Dykstra. We wish you and your family the very best in the next chapter.
