Welcoming New Families to Rancho Christian
The New Family Welcome Dinner begins a lasting partnership among parents, the Admissions team, and a Community of Christlike Care as families take their first steps in the Rancho Christian journey.
Starting at a new school brings plenty of practical questions. Where do we go? Who should we ask? How do we begin making connections?
Beneath those questions is something even more important: the hope that your family will find a place where you are known, supported, and welcomed.
At Rancho Christian School, that sense of belonging begins with partnership. We believe students thrive when families and the school walk together with trust, communication, and shared purpose. That partnership is at the core of how we build a Community of Christlike Care—and it begins from the moment a new family arrives.
A Welcome Built Around Relationships
Rancho Christian’s New Family Welcome Dinner is an opportunity to slow down, share a meal, and begin building the relationships that will shape the school year ahead.
New Rancho Christian families are invited to join us Monday, September 14, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. in front of Central, with seating on the lawn and at the tables.
The evening will include Vince’s Spaghetti, raffle opportunities, games, and time to meet other new families. While the gathering will be relaxed and fun, its purpose goes deeper than dinner. It is an important first step in helping families feel connected to the people and community around them.
Friendships often begin through simple conversations. Questions become easier to ask once there is a familiar face. A new campus begins to feel more like home when families have an opportunity to sit together, laugh together, and learn one another’s stories.
That is what this evening is designed to create.
Admissions Is More Than a Front Door
For many families, the Admissions team is their first connection to Rancho Christian. The team helps families discover the school, learn about its programs, and navigate the enrollment process.
But that role does not end once a student is enrolled.
Rancho Christian’s Admissions team is more than the front door to the school. It is an ongoing family resource as parents and students navigate the Rancho Christian experience from year to year.
As new questions arise, relationships develop, and students move through different seasons of school life, families should know they have people they can turn to. The Admissions team helps create those connections and supports families as they find their place within the broader Rancho community.
The New Family Welcome Dinner reflects that continuing commitment. It creates space for families to connect with the team beyond applications, forms, and enrollment steps—and to begin a relationship that continues throughout their Rancho Christian journey.
Building a Community of Christlike Care
A Community of Christlike Care is built through intentional relationships.
It grows when people take time to listen, when a new family is welcomed into the conversation, and when parents know they are valued partners in their child’s education. It becomes visible through hospitality, encouragement, friendship, and a willingness to walk alongside one another.
These values shape the way Rancho Christian approaches its partnership with families.
Parents bring an irreplaceable understanding of their children. Teachers, school leaders, and staff bring their own experience, care, and commitment. When those relationships are built on trust and a shared desire to help students grow, the entire community becomes stronger.
That partnership does not happen through one event alone, but every meaningful partnership needs a beginning. For new Rancho families, this dinner offers one of those beginnings.
