Raising the Standard for Athletic Training

Rancho Christian Welcomes Jonah Galoia-Moore as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Rancho Christian School is excited to welcome Jonah Galoia-Moore as our Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Assistant Varsity Football Coach.

Coach Galoia-Moore joins Rancho Christian with nine years of coaching experience and a clear passion for developing student-athletes in a way that reaches far beyond the scoreboard. He spent seven years coaching at The King’s Academy in Sunnyvale and two years at Valley Christian High School in San Jose. Before stepping into coaching, he competed for three years at the varsity level as a defensive end and tight end, followed by five years of college football as a defensive end and outside linebacker, including three years at Olivet Nazarene University and two years at Azusa Pacific University.

In his role as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Coach Galoia-Moore will help lead a campus-wide approach to athletic development. His work will benefit student-athletes across all sports, supporting teams with strength, conditioning, performance, discipline, confidence, and resilience. This position will play an important role in strengthening the overall athletic experience at Rancho Christian, including the continued growth and development of Rancho Christian Sports Academy.

For Coach Galoia-Moore, strength and conditioning is about more than physical performance. It is about helping students grow as whole people.

“I am passionate about helping student-athletes succeed not only in their sport, but in every area of life,” Coach Galoia-Moore shared. “My goal is to develop disciplined, confident, and resilient young men and women who are prepared to excel both on the field and in their future beyond athletics.”

That vision aligns closely with Rancho Christian’s commitment to developing students who are University Ready and Life Ready. Through training, mentorship, accountability, and care, Coach Galoia-Moore will help student-athletes build habits that support success in competition, in the classroom, in leadership, and in life.

His coaching philosophy is also deeply connected to his faith. Coach Galoia-Moore hopes his athletes learn to be resilient in all situations and to lean on their faith in God. His life verse is John 14:6:

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Rancho Christian is grateful to welcome Coach Galoia-Moore to the Eagles family. We are excited for the impact he will have on our student-athletes, coaches, athletic programs, and campus community as we continue building a culture of excellence rooted in Christlike care.

Welcome to Rancho, Coach Galoia-Moore!
