Rancho Christian Hosts FIRST LEGO League Tournament

Rancho Christian School Welcomes Regional Robotics Teams for FIRST LEGO League Tournament

Rancho Christian School recently welcomed robotics teams from across the region for a FIRST LEGO League Tournament, transforming campus into a hub of innovation, teamwork, and hands-on STEM learning.

Throughout the day, student teams presented research projects, competed in robot missions, and met with judges to explain the design and programming behind their LEGO robots. Each team spent weeks preparing for the tournament, learning how to solve problems, collaborate with teammates, and think like engineers.

The competition floor was filled with excitement as robots navigated challenge fields, completing missions designed to test precision programming and strategy. Judges evaluated teams not only on robot performance, but also on teamwork, innovation, and how effectively students communicated their ideas.

Hosting events like this reflects Rancho Christian School’s commitment to providing meaningful STEM opportunities for students. Robotics programs help develop skills in engineering, coding, collaboration, and creative problem solving while encouraging students to explore how technology can be used to serve and improve the world around them.

As families, coaches, and students filled the campus throughout the tournament, the event highlighted the growing excitement around robotics and STEM education within the Rancho community.

At Rancho Christian School, experiences like this help students grow academically, creatively, and spiritually as they become University Ready and Life Ready.
