note from the director

"Annie" the musical tells the story of an orphan girl who dreams of finding her parents and a new life. After being taken in for the holidays by a wealthy businessman, Oliver Warbucks, Annie's determination and optimism help her find not only a family, but also a way to overcome the challenges she faces. The musical is set in 1930s New York City during the Depression and shows us the importance of hope, perseverance, and finding your family, whether biological or chosen. I hope you walk away from this show with more than the songs that will no doubt get stuck in your head. I hope you take with you the message of hope. The sun will come out tomorrow. Hang in there.
