Rising Night: A Look Ahead to Middle School and High School
A new chapter at school brings a mix of excitement, curiosity, and questions—for students and parents alike. Rancho Christian’s Rising Night gives families a chance to look ahead together.
Current 5th- and 8th-grade students and their parents are invited to Rising Night on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, in the Student Union. The event time will be announced.
Getting ready for middle school
For 5th-grade families, middle school is the next step in a growing Rancho journey. Rising Night is an opportunity to learn more about what lies ahead, ask questions about the middle school experience, and begin picturing the next school year.
Students are invited to be part of that conversation. Bring the things you’re curious about and come ready to explore what your next chapter could hold.
Looking ahead to high school
For 8th-grade families, high school opens a new season of learning, growth, and possibilities. Rising Night offers a helpful starting point for understanding what comes next and considering the questions that matter to your family.
Whether your student is eager for high school or still figuring out what to expect, this evening is a chance to look ahead with encouragement and confidence.
An evening for students and parents
Rising Night brings families together around a shared goal: helping students feel informed, supported, and ready for their next step at Rancho. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. Bring your questions and take the next step together.
