Preparing Students for More
At Rancho Christian School, we are committed to giving every student the opportunity to be happy and successful academically, spiritually, and personally. A Higher Standard invites students to pursue their God-given potential and approach all they do wholeheartedly, “as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23–24).
Through the life and teachings of Jesus, students learn that they are deeply known and loved by God. Created in His image, they are equipped to learn, grow, persevere, and challenge themselves—becoming people of character who accomplish meaningful things, love God, and serve the world around them.
Four College-Preparatory Academic Pathways
1. UC-Ready Pathway
The UC-Ready Pathway is the standard academic pathway for Rancho Christian students and exceeds California’s graduation requirements. Students complete coursework designed to meet University of California admission requirements while developing leadership skills and Christlike character.
2. Distinguished Scholar Pathway
Designed for students pursuing admission to highly selective colleges and universities, the Distinguished Scholar Pathway features a rigorous selection of Advanced Placement courses, dual-enrollment opportunities, and intentional leadership development. Distinguished Scholars are known not only for academic excellence but also for Christlike character and servant leadership.
3. STEM Academy Pathway
Beginning in the earliest grades, the STEM Academy emphasizes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics throughout the educational experience. As students advance, they engage in increasingly rigorous curricular and co-curricular opportunities, including robotics, coding, laboratory sciences, and hands-on problem-solving.
4. Rancho Christian Sports Academy
The Rancho Christian Sports Academy (RCSA) gives student-athletes opportunities to train and compete during the regular school day. Students work to become stronger, faster, and more skilled while growing as leaders and followers of Christ. Each student-athlete follows a personalized training program developed by a certified trainer specializing in youth athletic development. As a college-prep academy, each participant is also on another academic pathway (above).
