CONTINUE TO EXPLORE RANCHO
Academically, our students are engaged in the classroom by proficient and deeply caring instructors with a 13:1 ratio of students to teachers. In our Elementary School, students take advantage of teachers trained in differentiated learning so that students of all learning styles and strengths can excel academically. High School students have an opportunity to participate in our Distinguished Scholar Program, National Honor Society, California Scholarship Program, and choose from 9 AP courses. 100% of our seniors are accepted into colleges and universities each year.
At Rancho, STEM "Science Technology Engineering and Math" is not just a educational trend, it is a deliberate function of our educational experience. Rancho offers courses for the STEM novice, and offers AP and in-depth courses for those who wish to further explore the scientific and engineering world around them, including our FIRST Robotics competitive team, "Bullseye," and the only school-based Satellite Tracking Program in Southern California.
Rancho is home to Championship Athletic Teams. We boast 28 sports teams at the Middle and High School levels, with 89% of them going on to compete in post-season championship competitions, including winning a State Championship in Football last year. Students are participating in record numbers and many student athletes go on to play their sport in college.
Our Performing Arts program develops 10 shows each year, encompassing Preschool through High School aged students. Our Visual Arts program also spans Preschool through grade 12, with 92% of Rancho student entries in the ACSI Art Festival receiving top awards last year.
Rancho encourages participation in Co-curricular Activities, both in and out of the classroom. Approximately 75% of all Rancho students are engaged in an activity outside of the classroom. This includes but is not limited to athletics, visual and performing arts, ASB (Leadership), Robotics, and Missions/Service clubs.
We believe very strongly in the power of “Service Learning” in which students engage in projects and activities to improve their communities or address social problems. Most importantly, it is the opportunity to be “the Hands and Feet” of the Lord. High School students are required to complete 60 hours of community service over four years in order to graduate. Our High School also offer a Missions Club that plans opportunities for students to travel locally, and internationally, to help others as a part of the Go Beyond initiative.
